Saturday morning Hallye and her parents met me at a local park and the weather was perfect for a fall photo shoot. Here are a few of my favorites, although it was very hard to narrow down to a "few" favorites when the subject is this adorable...

Just for fun.

Being a photographer it's really hard to hang out with my friends' adorable children and not have a camera attached to my face. I met up with some great friends at the park last week and took some fun pictures of their kids. When we planned to do it again this week I decided to leave the camera in the car and just enjoy the company. Even though the company was fantastic, it only took about five minutes for the camera to come out of the car. This is why...

How could I resist?

Carnell.

I spent my afternoon photographing Carnell and had an absolute blast. This senior was up for anything. For example:

Matt and I chose to take his senior portraits at church. It's amazing how many natural backdrops there are around the building. Here are a few of my personal favorites...

Elise - Part 2. (Or, Elise is awesome!)

I think these turned out even better than the first half of the session on Saturday. The very first photo Elise and I discussed was one that would be taken in the pool. And we got some great ones! Elise is so much fun and I had a great time with her senior portraits. (Including getting into a creek and a pool with my camera!)

Elise - Part 1.

I do my photography on location, and I was beyond thrilled when Elise confirmed with me that we could use a friend's cabin in the woods for her senior pictures. Elise is a swimmer, so we have a follow-up session on Thursday at the pool. I'll be sure to post those pictures too, but here are my personal favorites from yesterday's session:













(I really like how the shadow on her arm from the trees matches the pattern on her shirt in that last photo.)

Jordan.
